I stumbled on to this game a little over a year ago when browsing clearance sale PSOne games. I haven't been able to leave it alone since I started playing it.
From many of the posts in here, I take it most of you are doing this on PC. I have the Civ III Gold edition for my PC, but still prefer many aspects of the PSOne Civ II game.
I have 4 memory cards just for playing this game, all with different games going on each of them. Sometimes I use the cheat for getting easy money and sometimes I don't.
I have seen a cheat code listed on a few web sites for all advances, but when I have tried it, it doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know about this cheat? Supposedly the cheat involves choosing Romans then circle, triangle R1, R2, L1, L2, L2, L1, R1, R1, R1, but the Romans always start with the usual skills. Is there a different cheat code for this or just a certain technique in pulling off this code or is this just a plain bogus thing?
