Ok recently I have been getting error messages like this

I click ok, but the thing never goes away and I have to restart my computer. Yesterday it got worse, when ever I tried to do something (Cut, paste copy, send to, create new folder, I got an error message like the one above and I had to restart my computer. Whats going on?

Love to. Hell I even have a XP CD (but it's for reinstalling only, gotta find out if it's a pre-activated one. Hoping so)
