Playing a Marathon, Large Inland Sea, Prince, Ragging Barbs, Aggressive AI game, With 11 random AI's.
Shaka, Isabella, Montezuma and Augustus are among the (inland ocean's)11;)
I play as Hatty!

By 2485 (or 80?) BC Kublai Khan declares war on Elisabeth!?

I thought the aggressive AI's only where aggressive towards the human player.
Is this not the case?

What is the earliest war you guys have noticed in your games, not initiated by your self.

mehmet II. once declared on me in about 2000 BC. his one single warrior found my yet unprotected copper city and decided to take it. and that has been with normal AI, not aggressive.

They're definitely aggressive toward other AIs. If they're boxed in by a neighbor, that's who they'll usually go to war with. They're not going to come after you on the other side of the world with 3 cities and no room to expand.

In one of my first games (can't remember the date BC) I rushed to build a settler while my scout explored for a nice location. Saladin attacked me with 3 warriors as soon as my second city was down and took both cities. Extremely short game!

i built my second copper city and managed to whip an axeman the same turn ragnar decleared on me with 4-5 archers pillaging the mine and making me retire. Dont remember the date though.

currently in my settler level game (trying for quattromaster), my neighbor Korea declares war on me! That was a definite suprise, I think he is box in by me and China (playing on great plains) and decides to send a tank to my territory (modern start). I end up relieving his rule 10 turns later, using bombers and tanks
