LAN game crased to desktop after re-install

Hi i posted this in the mulitplayer sub-forum and realised it should be here; sorry for the spam

Hey all,

I have been playing over our LAN with a housemate and all has been great.

However, ive just done a fresh re-install of Civ and patched it to the same version as before.

First I tried joining the game, when he loaded it - crash to dekstop as soon as i join the game (the map appears then a few seconds later the full game is gone)

Then I tried loading a save from before the re-install, same thing happened, to me, when he joined the game.

Now we cant get it working and really dont want to start fresh.

Is there anything i can do?

Single Player is fine.
