Laptop expansion

I have found out that my laptop, a latitude c600 has an expansion slot on the bottom when you open up the metal cover ( http://sykenet.tripod.com/1.jpg -the slot on the top (sorry bad pic)). I was wondering what i could put in there. The mini pci slot (thats what i think its called) Seems to be just like a normal pci slot, except shrunk. But all i found was just wifi and newrok cards that would go in there. I know there is some other stuff you can put in there, but what? And while we're on this topic. My laptop has an ati mobility m3/4 video card. Its agp interfaced and i was wondering, can i upgrade this? And if so, where would i get an upgrade card?

call dell.. they can tell u anything about yer laptop.. they made it.

mmh, the number is 1-800 #, do i pay for that? Like an extra charge?

For the call? No. But depending on Dell you might have to pay for their help. I'm sure they'll tell you if there's a charge associated with it. You could always ask, as well.

Have you looked at the support.dell.com website to see if there's a place you can email them?

Some places won't talk to you if you don't have a service agreement/warranty with them. You'd be surprised at what someplaces do.

I don't think this would be a problem with dell, but the only time I've had to deal with them we had a 3-year 'gold' level service, courtesy of the school we had the laptop through.

One place (I won't mention any names) wouldn't talk to me about problems with my PC because I upgraded it to XP....

I emailed dell and they replied that i can buy parts for my laptop, but now i have to choose between getting either a faster cpu, or better vid card. I can get a 800mhz cpu ( instead of 500mhz) or ATi M10 vid card ( mobility 9600). Which one should i got for. My current vid card is an ATi M3 and cpu is 500mhz. Which one will bottleneck less if i dont upgrade it?
