Laptop selection advice *needed*

I need some advice about purchasing a notebook/laptop system. I want it to be a very good gaming machine, but also very portable (15 inch screen). Any adivce on what brand/type of notebook to get? (cost isnt a factor)

forget about gaming. it can't be protable and usable for games. and even then, it will get obsolete in 6 months, left you money pit.

Mine is 17" wide screen. 3.2 ghz, radeon 9700 128mb, 512mb ram. It does everything I want it to do. Although portable means about 15 lbs and 2 hr battery life. Trade-offs suck!

Check out the Fujitsu Lifebook N6000

I strongly considered a Toshiba Techra M4 Tablet. It's a 2hz Pentium-M with 128mb video memory. It's lighter, porbable and Tablets are awesome.
