This game is turning to the point where it is getting way too easy.
In order to play out an ethical nation as well as gaining some diplomatic goodwill around the world, what if we liberated Roman, Zulu, Babylonian and Iroquois workers to their own people, and then we could be proud of it.
If they then attacked us, we would feel better to retaliate as well.
We need to balance strategy and ethics in this game to make it interesting.

We should do this around when we discover Nationalism (Slavery was a big issue at that time). Right now, I have no pride in what this nation does.

We should either let them join cities or hand them back over to their former nations.

Let's put some challenge into the game. Liberate the slaves! Improve our reputation around the world. Send them home with a message of peace.

I say that we should free them. This is somewhat premature though and you don't state when we should free them. Let them build railroads back to Fanatikku and when they get there they can go home.

We have only 1 Zulu right now. From a Worker process in Swazi. Please check my Discussion of Workers thread for an accurate assessment.

And where will we send the Romans? To their 1 (soon to be 2) City?

If we were able to move the 1 Babylonian out of Nihilion, I'd consider repatriating the Bab workers. But we can't. Besides, we still have plans for a "Vintage" war under consideration. Better to repatriate all at once, rather than in 2 shifts.

I thought giving back slaves actually hurts your reputation,

I think we should send the Babylon and Zulus home. The Roman and Iroquios should be sent to work live in the citys that did belong to them. Particuly rome, if we sent them to the roman goverment then they would not even be in rome they would be in france

Liberate them all after we finish our rail network. Imagine it something like: Japanatica goverment make deal with slave population: Rails for freedom!

We need the cheap labour. Giving back these workers is a craz thought. I believe that having these workers are of a benefit to our nation.
