I think with the way the economy is modeled in this game. Production is a much better representation of maintenace cost than gold.
Wanted to know if it is possible to change building Maintenance from gold to production. I understand I can manually input a - production value in the building yields. Was wondering how to parse that in SQL so it added a - modifier to every building = to its Maintenance then set Maintenance to 0.
Was also wondering if there was a way to do so without inputting a negative production value into every building. I notice the AI tends to avoid building things with - modifiers. One workaround I thought of was a building that provides + gold and - production which would essentially turn the gold maintenance of the other buildings into minus production.
Any input would be super helpful.
