Making Custom Music Soundtrack

Oi there!

I was curious how you go about customizing the soundtrack to Civ IV?

I know the spot in the menu where you choose the custom music folder, but how does it know what music to play in Ancient, Classical, Rennaisance, Warfare, City View, Wonder Achievements, Which civ uses which music when you meet up with them, etc.
