have you ever dreamed of running your very own city? well now is your chance. the term 2 bohemian provincial administration (hereafter referred to as the bpa) is looking for qualified mayors to preside over the affairs of state in valhalla and the soon to be built city-on-the-iron (the post has been filled in bavaria). please post your application here telling me what experience you have (and if you dont have any im always ready to give new people, like myself, a chance), why you think you would make a good mayor, and what your opinion is on provincial borders. thank you very much and i look forward to hearing from my future mayors!

but i could need a deputy for bringing up discussion and getting people to say their comments and take part in local politics.
so if i was the lord mayor, we could propably call hat position "2nd mayor of bavaria", which will be a 10g/tc class position for rpg (as the lord mayor is a 20g/tc position)
beware that if you already hold another 10g/tc position, this does not effect your income as you only get money for one position in a class.

I second nominating octavian as Mayor of Valhalla. But if someone else also applies we should hold an election.

i have my reservations about giving mayors deputies. the last active census was only 20-odd people as i recall. we will soon run out of citizens because everyone will have a government position.

zarn, why would you make a good mayor? not that i dont believe you, but id like more detail. also, where is your opinion on provincial borders?

(that and you seem to be the only person on the forums other then eklektikos who can spell "centre" correctly). btw, is it absolutely necessary to put "lord" in your title? it sounds too aristocratic for my tastes. anyway, welcome aboard and i look forward to working with you.

I want to ask, NL, what do you mean by more info? I believe I'm fully qualified. I've been Governor, Trade Deputy, Trade Leader, Chief Justice, and now Vice President. I've served in all three branches of government! Not to mention the Cartographic Office. If that isn't 'qualified,' I don't know what is!

I would love to be the Mayor of Morgana. I've been Governor of Ameri (three terms), Mayor of San Francisco(first and last), Foreign Affairs Deputy(2 terms) and Foreign Affairs Secretary (1 term).

zarn, i dont think you are underqualified, but i had to pick someone. you arent out of the running yet for a mayorship, it just wont be bavaria.

octavian, those are all very distinguished offices, but (keep in mind i wasnt here demo game 1) what did you do in them? proposals put through, crises managed, that sort of thing.

plexus, thank god someone finally volunteered for morgana. but i need the same stuff i mentioned above, specifically as regards your terms in san francisco.

forgive my ignorance, but do these appointments need to be ratified?

It was only Dis and I that wanted the be mayors of Bavaria. I stepped aside, because dis is a good person and has been the mayor. There is no more me being one of your mayors. Sorry, but it is not going to happen.
