Is there any way around the limit on military units? I have a population of 246 million... but cannot build more than 127 military units.
Is this something that can be changed or not?

BTW: I have such a population by using the Civ Map Editor to change some useless ocean space into usable islands... outlined by 4 fish squares that I turn into oasis's. Most of my 65 cities are size 20 or larger... two of them are over 40. I prefer Communism as an all-purpose government form.

It's probably rooted in the source code.
