Missing files for install

Hello,

Can someone help me with my installation problem?
Okay so i ran the setup.exe then it told me to click next next next
now everything goes smoothly during the installation but somewhere in the
middle when it tries to install race.bik it just freezes for 10 mins then it says
it can't find the file so i either retry or cancel, when i retry it does the same thing. Now i solved that problem when i made a copy of race.bik and pasted it
in the designated install folder before the installation so it skipped that file,
the next file was security_briefing.bik and i have no idea how to install it unlike the other file which i installed manually. Its not on the cd anywhere and
i am freakin out... someone please help me.

Well, we won't help by posting the files, that goes against site rules.

Have you tried returning the disc to where you got it and getting a different one?

If you havent taken the CD back, have you tried copying the contents of the CDROM to a temporary folder on your hard drive and then try installing the game from that temporary folder? Sometimes this works with programs/games due to a variety of problems --> CDROM, copy protection, starforce interfering, dirty CD, misaligned laser in CDROM, dirty laser, and probably other reasons.
