A small thing really but I would like to be bleeped when other players in MP mode type messages to me. There are two issues here for me:
1) If other players are taking longer than me with their turn(even in sim turns), I might be reading my book (or more likely eating and drinking!) while waiting so don't have my eye on the screen the whole time. I know that the turnover time can be changed but if one person is at war and the others not, their turn will take much longer.
2) If I am in the city management screens etc, I can't see the typed messages so miss a lot.
This causes confusion sometimes as the other players don't know whether you have got their messages or not.
