my computer says that civ 4 is too powerfull bu the specs say that it is just fine

The day i bought civ 4 i went home and installed it. Then naturally i took a look at the tutorial. However the computer shows me a worning saying that this computer is not powerfull enough. But when i went to game with my specs written down on an peice of paper the man said that i would do fine. can someone plz explain???

Have you received a warning saying that your machine is below recommended specs? You can ignore that message. What matters is whether the game works or not.

You can disable the message by editing the ini file option: HideMinSpecWarning=1 (or something like that).
