solomons and lake and gbr are proly best, hard to choose from them, depends on dirt around, i m not too big fan of those bakker yields as they dont "scale" - still its nice obviously.

For spain gbr definatly best as it gives double gold, double everything.

having a faith wonder is nice but df can be same good so i d skip them if the choise.

Probably not the best per se, but I love Kilimanjaro - having the Incan bonus on your units is great.

I actually got to use it as Korea the other day. It was pretty meh.

There was a game posted a little while ago that had Krakatoa in Spain's cap. The start was otherwise really bad, but the volcano was hilarious for destroying early game tech. That said it wasn't really incredibly better than Babylon since it's hard to work the tile immediately.

I once found it first close to my capital. Not only could i buy and found 2 cities asap - The bonus from my second city way insane.

If other then spain i prefer lake victorica, king salomons mines or one of the faith-mountains, Sinai.
