need some help.

ok so i have civ III and need some help, i downloaded some mods and need help on how to incorperat those into the game. i would appriciate any help that comes my way. oh and i have a mac so its the mac version of the game.

ps if this is in the wrong section im sorry, still new.lol.

If you have complete, its pretty straight forward.

Place scenarios in:
~/Documents/Civilization 3 Complete/Scenarios/
where ~/ is short for your Home directory.

launch the game, and select the scenario from the menu, have fun...

thanks MAS, very helpful. know i have another queston, maybe you could answer. how can i incorperate indifidual units into my game? if that even possible.

If you want to add a unit to the game, you'd have to create a scenario/mod that uses the unit. To do that, you need the editor, and the editor is not ported to the mac.

If you have windows on virtual PC, VM-ware, or Parallels, then this thread explains how to use the windows editor in combination with the mac install of C3C.

If not, you are out of luck.

You can replace the graphics of an existing unit simply by replacing and renaming the corresponding graphics file, somewhere in the file structure in the Civ3 folder, with the new graphics file.
