Hi, I am a marketer myself and I love Civilization a lot. I run a hosting company and also an online casino. I also love to build computer systems and the way I build my computer systems is by following what Civilization's compatibilities are.
If civilization 4 comes out I probably have to upgrade. And I have this crazy idea. I like the name Firaxis and I am thinking something like we can partner and get the name Firaxis out in the world. I will build the computer systems and use the name Firaxis Computer Systems. I basically like to market your games with a computer system. If people buy my computer system it will come with the game civilization 1, 2, or 3 or 4 whatever the latest versions I got available from the stores.
All I need is an approval from Sid Meir's if I can use the name Firaxis for the computer systems I am going to build. If I can use it, I will register the company as a corporation in Canada. Or if you have already corporated your company in US then I won't register it. I really love this game of your's thats why I like to do a favor for Sid Meir's.
I just want to be able to use a name for my computers that I build. This way I can introduce to more people about civilization the game or any games taht Firaxis is going to build. I see big potentials for Firaxis. It is tough but will try to do it as I run other businesses of my own.
My companies Fei's Internet Technology and Flizard Technologies will be registerd as a corporation sometimes in the week.
It's gonna be quite tough and competitive in the world. We are all battleling the world in the IT boom. If Sid Meir's allows me to use Firaxis on my computer systems that I build that be good. I also like to use Firaxis in building an electronical car's and more. I see a bright future between my private companies and Firaxis games.
I am very crazy with what I have. If Sid Meir's wants to expand more of their games being built and also thinking about hard ware, we can venture together. I don't mind about how much I make using the name Firaxis. I really love this game and a lot of games comming out for Firaxis. I can see a lot of potential partner we got. We can share more wonderful ways to develope games, as I am a hardware guy myself.
