I know what a few of the new civs will be in Play the world but whant to know the others and am sking u out ther.. ther will be

1. Mingolia

2.Carthage

thes i know for sher and hear are some gesing ones i came up with

1. spin

2.Ottoman Empire

3.Kingdom of Isreal

4.Bizantium or Bizantine empire

5.Inca

6.myan

7.Assyrian empire

8.Arabia

9.Astro-Hungery

10.Portugal

11.Norway

thats all im thinking of more that chold be in ther.. and one more thing u know thay shold replace whoever ruls rusa (that dumb ulgy lady) and have stalin insted and thay need wiston cherchill too... plz post ur coments but i think all will agery that the russian lady is ulgy...

The ugly Russian lady is Catherine the Great. I think she's an OK choice as the Russian head of state, but you are right about that picture! I have often considered playing as the Russians just so I don't have to look at her when I do diplomacy. Definitely a good idea for a mod. It's the little things that drive you nuts!

Yeah, I think any of those would be OK. What would be even better is to allow players to choose from a list of possible heads of state for each game. Perhaps there is a modification that allows this, but I haven't seen it . . . . think I'll do some research on that.

Oh, and I forgot to mention the worst thing of all about Catherine -- when she asks if I'm here to admire her great beauty! ARGH!
 
Hear are some new unit ideas too..ill try amd send a list to fixars but i need to know how so tell me if u do
1.ship of the line

2.anti tank guns

3.anti aircraft guns or flak when u get flight

4. combat enganers to bild forts, trenches,pillbox's etc.

5.rail guns that are much stronger then artilery but have to stay on rail roads

6.outposts. like fors but defnd them shelvs

7.sting men, men that ack like walikng sam's but weaker

8.bazoka men. like walking anti tank guns but weaker

9.hevey mg guners

10. an atomic bomb that u can load on bombers in the inustryal age

11.taerorist unit (thay have hiden naisnality like priveters and recon cant see them and wont apear unles ther within one space of a unit or city. enven when in ur borders)

i have som ideat too for nasinality and spying

1. ur city can be a target by terorist(like when u get a city from an enamy and risitors calm down at an time thw words "what every city u have has been hit by teroist and have disdroyd what ever inrovment or hur our unit" not a unit this time

2. spy oition to snek atomic bombs into enamy citys so u can blow it up and have no war

3. civs shold not make war on u cus u use atomic wepons on enamy citys it shold only efeck the way that think

4. if a city is starving it has higter chance of anarky
 
Just because someone is reading it doesn't mean they have to reply. Look at the member list - a LOT of people read the threads, but don't reply. Another reason why people may not reply is that they don't know what to say.
 
Stalin killed more people than Hitler. He shouldn't be in Civ 3. Mao killed a bunch of Chinese guys, and they don't really count. :D

J/K, but I would like to have some other leader than Mao. Actually, Catherine is pretty bad too.

You seem to forget that Russia wasn't only a superpower during the Cold War. The days of Catherine the Great, and her predecessor, her father, Peter the Great were prosperous times for Russia.

Many would object to Stalin being the leader of Russia, in similar lines to those who'd object to Hitler being leader of Germany (hence we have Bismarck). I know this doesn't close the argument on Mao (nor Shaka for that matter). But consider that an exclusion of Mao may not have helped sales in China (or may have prevented sales all together). With a population of 1.2 billion Firaxis would not want to miss out.

Actually I don't know whether any of them will be definitely in it. :(

With the exception of the Arabs.

I do think that of your list these should be there. (I may exclude some due to space restrictions).

Israelis
Incas
Assyrians

I would also like to include

Spanish
Celts (or some pre-history European bunch)
Vikings (You put in Norway, but that's not the same).

I wouldn't mind seeing the final list, but I'm sure I could look it up somewhere on the forum.

By the way I did vote. :)
