These could possibly be rip offs of already created other factions I dont know, but I created them for my own purposes and games; 
Also there are a few things that need tweaking that take AGES to do in Paintshop Pro 7; so I havent fixed them yet.
Darian Incorporated
Darian Incorporated
Leader: Director Erik Darius
Leader Background: Son of wealthy businessman Jacob Darius, owner of the pro-green conglomerate Darius Incorporated; and a good friend of Nwabudike Morgan.
Became involved in the Unity project as an assistant to Prokhor Zakharov as a favour from Zakharov to his father Jacob. Following the premature awakening of the Unity crew and subsequent landing on Chiron Erik made himself infinately useful to Provost Zakharov through his determination, and simplistic view on life.
Faction Background: During the early years on Chiron, Erik worked hard to remain useful to Zakharov as infinately more intelligent men and women were now challenging Eriks' abilities as aide to the Provost.
Desperately Erik sought for a way to regain favour with his mentor, and the opportunity presented itself in the form of Nwabudike Morgan and his Morganic faction.
Erik worked to foster strong ties between the Corporate state of Morgan Industries and the University of Planet; regaining favour with the Provost, and gaining the friendship of many, including CEO Morgan, and the enimity of some others.
As the years progressed, and Erik spent more and more time in Morgan Industries; serving as the defacto ambassador to the Industries; his views and ideas became coloured by a Morganic way of thinking, which the scientists of the University viewed as dangerous; and so they plotted against him, eventually convincing Provost Zakharov that Erik was planning to defect to the Morgan Industries.
Upon hearing of his supposed defection the Provost ordered the arrest of Adjustant Darius, and forced Erik into the position of having to fight back; due to the many friends he had on both sides of the border between the University and the Industries he was able to quickly build a power base from which to fight back.
Fleeing to the border Base of Mir Lab; which he promptly renamed Darian Industry Central; he with the help of Univesity and Morganic border Governors organised a Government and formed his own faction named Darian Incorporated, based on the principles of research and industry of both the University and Morgan Industries.
With this rebellion against his power, Provost Zakharov convinced CEO Morgan to aid him in destroying the Darian Incorporated which now controlled the entire border provinces of both the Morgan Industries and the University of Planet.
The Darian War of Independence lasted for 24 years; before with the help of the Gaian Stepdaughters allowed the Darians to bring their cause to the Planetary Council and have Planet Governor Lal recognise the Corporation as an independent faction; effectively ending the war under penalty of military intervention by the UN Peacekeeper faction.
Faction Agenda: To accumulate enough wealth and knowledge to ensure Darian sovereignty, and pursue practical research where the investment is needed.

Leader: Pope Leonardo Aurelius
Leader Background: Leonardo Aurelius was the youngest Chaplain in the history of the Catholic Church, in the Vatican. He served the last Pope of Earth loyally until said Pope ordered him to assist Sister Miriam Godwinson on the Unity Project.
The Sister had Aurelius become her assistant and he served her as faithfully as he had done the Pope of Earth.
Faction Background: In spite of his extreme loyalty to Miriam herself; Aurelius could not help begin to question some of her ideals which were supposedly Catholic but which sounded vaguely heretical to him.
He and a growing number of dissidents began to question her on various issues of the religion and her answers did not serve to ease their wariness.
The catalyst of schism within the Believer Church came when Sister Miriam declared that Planet Governor Lal, a man whom Aurelius respected and admired for his tenacity and upstanding "very Christian" spirit, was a heretic and pressed a Vendetta against the Peacekeepers.
Aurelius lead a group of Believers off to found their own Faction, and he elected himself the first Pope of Planet, and formed the Papacy of Planet.
Faction Agenda: To worship and follow the true words of God under the peace of the Papacy. To spread the word of God to the other "lost" Factions.
