The Dancing Banana settler production will complete in two turns, so we will have two settlers to locate in the next few turns. This means that we will lead on the other teams by at least a city. We also reached population three this turn, and will rise in population again in 4 turns.
Iron is 9 turns away, and will be subject to the fourth settler we get in Term One. I think we clearly can afford Statue of Zeus as it stands with this positive surprise with a new settler and ready access to bountiful land.
Cyrus on the other hand, ran into three barbarians, but they are east of him, and he stands safely on a hill. The worker at risk will be finished with his road in good time before anyone can reach him, and our settler was worth it.
