Noob question on score

Eversince I started playing with accelerated production, I can't seem to get a score higher than 3500 or so. All games I win end more or less the same way: I won 80%+ of the territory and win via culture, conquest or spaceship (other victory conditions disabled), so is this a bug or a feature? (Monarch level, PTW 1.27f.)

By the way, is there any title above "xxx the magnificient"?

Move up a level and get a bigger multiplier for your score

btw - I don't play for score, just for fun.

If you win every monarch game, move up. And enable all victory conditions, it's more fun.

I don't win every game @ monarch, just some I don't think I'll move up because it requires much more micro and I hate micro

One score was 65,000 on deity in vanilla Civ3. Aeson had that score I believe (there used to be a thread on it, and the high score used to be in the HOF standings, but not anymore...).

Anyway, take a look in the HoF forum for tips on milking the game for a high score.

Well, I began trying early conquest victories (still during the ancient age), and I got an 11500 score that way.

Well, I had a 5100 score before I turned on accelerated production.

To get a higher score, not sure why you would care, play conquest only. Milk the game out to 2050 and eliminate the last civ on that turn. Pump up happiness and get as many cities to metro size as you can.

The bigger the map, the higher you can score.
