My brother just got civ4, but when it won't start up - as in he can't get the auto-install to install. He gets an error message "D:\ not win32 application", but he can see the contents of the DVD
Any suggestions?

I got him to follow advice I found for civ2 - copy the DVD to the hard drive, and install through there. All is good (or it will be once we got the updated driver)
