Not Installed Properly????

Okay, just got home from Comic-Con and picked up BTS on the way back.

Went to install it over my CIV4 + Warlords install under XP SP2 and it refuses to install claiming that Civ4 isn't installed properly.

This is not a pirated copy or anything of the sort. I all 3 products.

Any ideas what might be up???

The install is on my D: drive in d:\Sid Meier's Civilization 4

I do move my shortcuts around but that's about it.

Have you tried patching it before you install the Expansions?

Another problem that, however, normally shouldn´t occur nowadays anymore could be that the installation routine doesn´t like folder names that contain spaces or more than 8 characters

It'd be nice if the installer could tell you what's up. I'd forgotten that I'd recently upgraded my whole system and never re-installed Civ4. It's one of the rare games these days that runs perfectly even without a re-install.

So much for that benefit. I'm in the process of re-installing it all from scratch now.
