Curious how many people here overclock/underclock (or volt) components. Civ isn't a super-heavy graphics game so I'm not expecting a whole lot, but then again, a supersized Civ3 map can take forever for the AI's turn, so who knows.

I personally underclock and undervolt my CPU to save power, and both overclock (3D) and underclock (2D) my GPU for better performance and power use. My laptop won't let me overclock my CPU, at least from software, so that's out, and changing the GPU voltage is a bit more risky than I'd like to try so that's out as well. But it's been rather effective, particularly in the realm of power saving.

Edit: Forgot the mutliple choice option. Can a mod change that?

No can do. That's the one thing we can't change.

Feel free to start a new thread tho.
