!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I'm trying to scan some double-sided, multi-page documents. Since the ADF on my scanner does not do double-sided scanning, I have to figure out how to scan the front pages, then the back pages, and then merge them to one PDF that is accurately collated.
So is there any (free?) PDF merging software that will allow me to merge them in an alternating fashion?
If possible, I'd like it to be able to not just merge them in an alternating way, but merge them according to the following pattern:
1) First page of first canned doc
2) Last page of second scanned doc
3) Second page of first scanned doc
4) Second-to-last page of second scanned doc
etc. etc.
This is because when I scan the "back" side of the document (i.e. the "second scanned document") it is easiest to scan it from last page to first, since that way I do not have to reorganize it before scanning (I can just scan the front pages, flip the doc over, scan the back pages).
Any help with this, or any other suggestions for scanning double-sided, multipage documents would be HIGHLY APPRECIATED.
Please for the love of God help me.
