Hey gents, sorry to take up your time, just a lil' problem i'm having.
I have Civ 4 installed and running on Windows XP, no problem. Try to install a patch, however, any patch, and the process goes through as if the patch has been installed. It goes through the installation, it says i've been upgraded, all that. But when I start Civ 4, it says (and acts as if) i'm still using the original unpatched version. Moreover, when I run the patch again, it acts as if i'd never run it to begin with, saying it will upgrade my game.
This occurs with both patches released. I've installed them and restarted my cpu a billion times.
I can't find anyone with the same problem. What could it be?? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
