Patched Version: Cap Kidd = bugged?

Its late in my 1660's game, im 40 with bad health. My last wish was to try and slay Kidd for the insane amount of gold he's hording. However, when I go to his pirate hideout he says "Im the #1 Pirate, get lost". And I never see him outside his base in La Gardon except for a few glitchy moments when his boat seems to be stuck in the dry land behind the pirate town...


UPDATE:

I was finally able to bug my own ship back into the shallow waters behind La Gordon. There I was able to fight Kidd's ship in a tidal pool of shallows. It was quite comical the way neither of us could maneuver at all.

UPDATE 2:

My ship is permanently stuck and twitching behind Le Gardon.. I guess I shouldnt have gone after that tresure afterall...

Right click the mouse (activates the telescope and greatly slows down time).
Then try to ease your way out.

That coast is a trap, they should remove the bay. Play vs realism.

Well, I tried using the telescopte to slow my turns and escape, to no avail im afraid. It just makes the glitchy twitching a little slower, still unable to move.

I agree, they should fix this (along with the silly unable to walk through shallow water on foot stuff).
