Pick a Religion???

Selous you have some good points.
i like the idea of having a seperate religion for each civ. Maybe there could options in how you enforce your religion and what it promises to your people.
Instead of having Romans and Babylonians (in your situation) go to war, won't it be better for both of them to become allies because of similar religion.

yea ... that was my point .... eek ... i tried to be as clear as possable ... but ... war between the babolonians and the romans would become very hard as war wearyness would set in immeadiatly .... i couldnt think of anything to make the 2 civs closer friends ... but it would make it MUCH harder to be enemys

anyone have some more suggestions? i like my idea because it would be apolitical (who could be offended by this method?) and religion would be a force to be reconed with rather than just being a people pacifier
