Please help me fix my Gulf Coast scenario. You can find its thread here: "The Gulf Coast: Battlefield of the New World" Scenario.

Version 1.0 was a hit on the forums; people loved it. Now for version 2.0 I've turned it into a full blown mod. I made it with the Greek World mod as a template, added era-appropriate religions, and the Creek Indians as an AI civ. It is one of the most fun scenarios now after fixing two XML bugs.

But it crashes in April 1782 no matter what! That's about 20+ turns in, boom, CTD. The XML is prestine, all areas and leaders work in-game, I have no clue what is wrong. I don't know what to do.

Consider this mod open source. Please click on its thread and help an ambitious but n000b modder pinpoint the issue! Help!

Thank you!

Nick

What did you add from the time you made 1.0 to 2.0? Maybe something you added is breaking. Since I don't know about the mod, or what you added, do this:

- Create another mod just like yours, and slowly take things away and see if it still crashes. Maybe it's a late build or something.

Also, edit the ini to say cheat=chipotle, and press ctrl-z in the scenario to see what the AI is doing 1 turn before it crashes.

EDIT: Ok, it looks like in the save you sent me, that there's an invisible civ. Any attempt to view it (CTRL-SHIFT-Mouseclick to place a unit from that invisible "civ", worldbuilder, alt-z to cycle to that civ, etc.) crashes the game. So, I think it has to do with that invisible civ. A normal game doesn't have that extra civ though.
