Pre-2.25 maps in v2.25

Unless I'm mistaken, maps made before v2.25 don't work with .25.

a) What causes this? The new special improvements and resources?
b) Is conversion possible, or does one have to remake them from scratch?

I've been trying, but not sucess so far. The old script files seem to be broken as well but I cant seem to get any help on them either

I'm looking at that now; at the least I think the file extension needs to be changed to ".civBeyondSwordWBSave"

edit: Well, that was a headache. Basically, just make a new BtS FfH 2 25 map, save in WB, and compare what is different, especially the beginning parts.

Can you elaborate? I'm looking at one from 2.23 and one from 2.25 and seeing very few differences.

Actually annoyingly simple and drove me round the bend. Create a save game in BTS and open your favorite file with notepad. Cut and paste all the team details so that your favorite has the 39 teams option that the save game does. It should work. You might also want to check that the header details match too, especially the number of turns.

This is what I did, it worked.

In this instance I added the empty team infos as you said, as well as the empty player infos. This makes me happy.

Ah, yeah, that's what I did, but there were other differences that I changed and I wasn't sure what did the trick.

At some point I'll try to update my map for BTS. But currently I can't get .25 to load at all...

Naw, I can't get 3.13 BTS to load at all... I think I need to look elsewhere for help.
