Ok, here's the situation:
The world is in a state of near total war on a Standard map, 7 civs retain their capital. All city-states are aligned with one of three civs - me, Arabia, or India. Arabia has enough city-states to win diplomatically and the UN clock is on. It's an archipelago map, but as England, I control the seas. What are my options?
I can't bribe my way to victory as I can't make peace with either India or Arabia. All of their city-states are beyond my influence.
I don't think I can destroy enough city-states in time to negate Arabia's edge.
I could probably take Mecca and the UN in an all out assault, but would that eliminate Arabia from the vote? Even the loss of those 3 votes would not be enough to prevent their victory unless loss of capital is immediate disqualification.
I can't win by any other means inside of 10 turns.
If the loss of one's capital is not an immediate disqualification, is this game lost? Thanks.
