Hello.
I am trying to play vox populi on linux. I set up wine environment and installed steam -> civ 5.
Not modded civ 5 looks to work fine, but when I am playing with vox populi after a few turns I have a problem. Game is stucking in AI turn "Processing turn for player X". Sometimes I can save the game and reload it. After reload the game proceeds, but it is not always possible, as sometimes during the AI turn screen starts to flicker really fast and it is not possible to do anything besides killing the whole process. As vanila civ 5 works fine It has to be some problem with mod dependencies. Any Idea about what can cause freezes during AI turn, quite frequent (first freeze turn 2-7). It is reapeatable in a way that the same save will freeze during the same turn, but every new game freezes in different turn and at different bot turn.
Hope I will figure out how to set up everything to play our great mod, as vanila civ 5 is bad.
Edit:
Forgot to say, tried with dx9, dx11, with and without enhanced UI.
