profile bug?

profiles created in options screen aren't compatible with the new patches. I get a "can't load profile" error. the problem is, this prevents me from deleting the older profile. I think it's a bug.

A quick solution would be for me to find this profile file and delete. the problem is I have no clue how to go about this. I tried deleting the game folder in My documents without success. any suggestions?

I bought it over the web from ebgames.

I did install the newest patch, through in-game updater.
I'm trying to delete my user profiles that was created at v.1.00

I have no problem deleting profiles that I created post 1.52
let me see if I can get a Screenshot.

omg, I figured it out. the interface was just unintuitive.
Instead of selecting my profile from drop down menu and clicking on "delete profile".

I have to type out the profile name in "type-box" and click delete.
