Hi, iam just playing my 3th game of civ 3 against 1 comp (babylon) and iam Persia, iam in 1000ad now and i make 700 gold profit per turn (still get 1 tech every 4 turns) is this good or bad??? meaning, should i get the Wealth off some towns (and build militairy ****)?

btw, iam playing on the easyest lvl (chieftain i think)

Not possible. In play the world the MINIMUM you must researchg a tech is 10 turns. Also wha are your science tax bars at? How many otwns do you have? Did you make a deal for GPT form babolyon?

maybe its because i marked the faster production thing (i dont like slow games) :) and now iam makeing 952 gold a turn (11xxAD) :) is this good or not ? iam now developing combustion :)

30% on sience and 10 on happienes (never get civil disorders)
No GPT from babylon and i have (lemme count...22 City's which the most of are Metropolis'

In Play the World, the minimum you research a technology in is 4 turns, or 2 turns under Accelerated PRoduction.

The amount of gold you're making is reasonable, but to be honest, Chieftain level is dead easy; I'd recommend starting on at least Warlord level.

Ya, its no fun (but i was totally new to civ) so i played 3 games on chieftain lvl just to learn the game :) (all 3 whit 1 opponent)
now ill try 1 whit 4 opponents then ill go to the nxt lvl

Persepolis you are doing right in starting on the lowest lvl, and yes you have a good game going on. You would likely benefit of moving up a lvl.

To Sirp: Starting on warlord isn't a good idea if you dosn't even now how to move your troops around (and yes some newbies cannot move units, though they quikly learn that). You should start on lvl 1, learn the interface and only then move up, if you are in such a hurry...
