Hi all,

I could not find this in the manual but how can you scroll to a specific city on the map quickly? Say you are in 'F1' mode and you see the list of cities. I can open the city screen by clicking the first icon of any city. But is there also a way to scroll the map to a given city?

Thanks

Well, if you know where on the map the city is, you can click on the minimap to instantly scroll there.

I'm not aware of any other ways to move the view around, but I've hardly done an exhaustive search of the command list.

Welcome to the forums!:band:

Derakon's advice is good. One other way I learned on the forums is that if you get an event near that city, you can click on the notice in the events log in the upper left. That will take you to the spot on the map the computer is talking about. Comes in handy on an earth map when you don't remember the name of the Mayan city.

Well the problem is that I don't know where the city is. I'm bad with remembering names so I always forget where my cities are. I hardly remember where to find my capital even :-)

Seems strange that there is no way to quickly navigate to a city (except with the messages, thanks for that tip).

Greetings,

I think it means that once in the city screen for any of your cities, you can use the left or right arrows up at the top to scroll through all your cities.

I am sure there is a keyboard combo to do this when you are NOT in the city screen.

Also, you can F1, then click on the little city icon left of the city name to open that city screen.
