What's the latest release of Romance of the Three Kingdoms on the PC? I'd love to play that game again.

I'm afraid KOEI doesn't do any more localization for the RoTK series for the PC - the last one was IV. However if you have a PS2, you can play VII, VIII and IX. 
For the PC, if you can read Korean, Chinese or Japanese, they have it for up till X I think... At least IX (they came out way before the localized versions for the PS2).

the dynasty warriors series is still alive though and that's based on the romance of the three kingdoms book.
DW is action hack-and-slash; the Romance series are strategy games.
I've also posted about the DW games somewhere... Quite cool.
Now they've a new, somewhat similar one - Samurai Warriors.

Its a shame they arent releasing the PC versions in the US anymore, if they did, maybe we'd see the Taikou series as well. Its similar to RotK but set in the Sengoku period, the latest one actually has 800 playable characters 0_0. Im currently playing it, but since I can read next to no japanese, Im not doing all that well.
