Man, whenever I'm facing Russia in a game and Catherine is located a good distance away, she always cleans my clock in the tech-race. The expansion and scientific traits are devastating, particularly on large+ maps, even standard. In a current game, I'm struggling my butt off to move up in score to compete in the UN election, which I know will be soon.

I always try to make Russia the fist civ I eliminate if I'm up against her. She always makes demands on me...

Yes, Catherine is hare to get along with, but have you ever seen her happy?

Ewwww.... she looks like an evil witch trying to get you eat cookies so that you'll be nice, fat, and juicy.......

If Bismarck and Catherine had a baby, what would it look like?

Russia's success depends on the type of world - If there's plenty of room then she'll be a superpower, but on my recent archipelago games where Russia was badly boxed in they were a minor player.

i agree with lab monkey. Altho I have to admit that russia expands across water better than any on the other expansionist civs. Catherine is always making demands and declaring war on me. My current game, russia has almost encircled france and germany. Not sure why but the russians had about 3x the number of cities of those 2 combined. neither france nor germany settled some great spots and eventually the russian settlers moved in.

We should call Conan and have him to a thing on Cathy and Bismark, what if they made it...

Maybe I'll get my graphics designer out tonight and try to make a cross between Cathy and Bis to see what their baby would look like
