I looked around but can't find if this has been asked in FAQ, how do you unlock the scenarios to play them in the Scenario Screen?

I just downloaded the other day and have been playing FFH constantly since, it is FREAKING AWESOME by the way, (excellent job.) I see the scenario screen and all these cool looking scenarios but can't figure out how to play them, some are coming soon so I guess they will be needed to download later such as the Black Tower but what about Grand Menagerie, The Momus and Through the Fire to name a few.

Sorry I haven't figured this out myself, I looked through readme, notes, FAQ but haven't figured it out yet. Thanks in advance for the help.

This is just a "place-holder" screen for upcoming awesomeness. You see, Kael never does something to be half-done, he tries to fletch his creations into perfect jewels, so the time should pass for the Scenarios to be avaliable (I guess they will be scenario maps like that "FFH:Age of Ice" which comes as a part of BTS).

OK that's what I feared :(

Hehe, just joking the game is excellent all the same, very stable no problems, most civs seem to crash on me. I just killed Acheron the Red Dragon and I'm running around with Magnadine filling inferenals. I'm playing the Hippus, what do you guys think are the best or most fun race to play, this is my first game afterall?

Is one of the scenarios underway right now by the way?

well the scenarios are slated for the "Ice" release of FfH ;)
Everyone's eagerly anticipating the release of the Illians in 0.34 slated in a few days--if you have played the Age of Ice scenario you would know/guess what they are  Not really a "scenario", but looking at the screenies and changelog Kael posted, they are looking to be a very unique civ indeed. (str 60 hero!)

I'm sure everyone has his or her fav few civs to play, and all of them are very unique in their own way. A good starting point if you needed some quick info is to look at the manual posted in the forums, and there are a few civ specific threads under the strategy section. >> http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=265888

As you would have noticed, the Hippus is one early/midgame powerhouse civ.
Off the top of my head, some strong civs for starters would be the Lanun (Hannah, coves are real overpowered that they are about to be nerfed back), Luchuirp (fireball slinging golems, also going to get hit by the nerf bat pushing the fireballs back to sorcery), Calabim (late-game powerhouse once you get vampires(fun~), decent early game with morois) and the elves (able to build improvements in forests, especially powerful if you have at least run FoL for a few turns to get ancient forests)
Well take your time to mess around with each civ/religions, its gonna keep you occupied for a long long time~ :p

Check out Xienwolf's manual, if you haven't already - it answers a lot of questions.

Best first civs: either Grigori or Bannor. Neither one has too much in the way of confusing new stuff, but will be a nice, easy transition to the FFH world - which plays very different from vanilla BTS.

As for which is the most fun to play, that depends very much on your playstyle. Every civ is very unique, and there's one for everyone. If you enjoy a strong rush, Hippius are nice - or the Doviello. A late game, unstoppable military - Calabim, maybe Bannor. The Lanun offer a good economy on coasts; the Sidar are the best economy of ANY civ. Other civs have other bonuses.

Again, check out the manual for info on each civ's specialty. The in-game Civilopedia is nice, but doesn't always come out and tell you what's the unique thing each civ does.
