Okay, I've currently got a lot of stuff to do setting up the MP Democracy game, so a poll today, tommorow and Saturday should get some work done for the Science Department al least unitl I can sort everything out.

Are we aiming Democracy?
If so, it should be either Invention or Banking.

If there was an "other" in the poll, that would have allowed for a write-in like invention.

I would like to see us go for invention if it becomes available after engineering. Would be great to "lock up" Leo's right away and we'll need it for gunpowder as well.

If not, Navigation is a decent choice as well. This map makes Magellan's even more valuable.

I can't help but think that there's technology out there for the taking or trading with the other civs. We should seriously start looking into some stealing/taking of some or calling on others for purposes of trading.

Navigation, then invention should be available, isn't it? I know it doesn't require navigation, but, it that can wait for a while...Except if someone else is close to it, as I see getting Leo's to be of utmost importance, and in which case invention should be first, then navigation.

Pell's right, I don't have all the time I'd like for this anymore. I fully trust Gonzo can run the Science Department as well as I could, if not better. I will stay on as...an advisor of sorts to the minister, but that's all I have time to do.

I voted University as we need to improve our science rate, and Newton's will be important for our SSC. I agree with the push for Invention and Leo's, as well, should University not be available that would be my second choice.
