When i launched my new civ by the awesome help of Optik, I noticed that the scroller in the setup game menu was disabled, does anyone know how to fix that..?

That's usually the sign of a Lua error. In many of the official Lua functions, interactive bits (scroll bars, left- and right-click functionality) are often the last things to load, so they're a pretty good indicator of an error. FireTuner will usually tell you what was wrong.

Assuming, of course, that the scrollbar you're referring to is part of the vanilla game in the first place. If you can't get it to scroll without your mod, then that's a different story.

It was a the vanilla scroller in the menu where you choose your civ. I didn't use any Lua documents, should i include some document to fix this?

I heard tell that there's no scroller there normally, with the last civs not selectable even if you just have all of the DLC. Never checked it, though, and it might've been fixed in a patch.

What menu is that exactly? What buttons lead you to it? I've added 18 civilizations without any problem on any of the menus I could find. There's also no LUA required to simply add them to work like the existing civilizations. They should all just appear in the lists working normally.

If you copied something from Kael's guide it's also horribly out-dated. There should be absolutly no problem just adding a copy of a civilization-entry from the Civ5Civilizations.xml-file, then search where all the keys lead and make similar entries or use the existing ones.

Also for debugging I've noticed if there's something wrong with any XML-file building a unit or using a civilization which use it can crash the game. That a scrollbar would disappear from a list is a little more exotic, unless you give the new civilizations the same ID as an existing one but I've never tried that so I don't know what would happen.

You mean the button "Advanced Setup" or when you click your selected civilization at the top of the first window? Either civilization-list works fine for me with the latest patch. In the Advanced Setup-screen the scrollbar for when you change your own civilization only appear after many more civilizations than for the computer-player. You may want to post a screen-shot however if it's really a problem it's probably something in your XML-files.

In the Advanced Setup however every time I go back and click Single Player again, even with a mod that doesn't change anything about the civilizations or even without loading a new mod, it seems to add all the civilizations in that mod to the list. So after clicking it 3 times I've got 3 copies of all civilizations as well as my own custom ones... Though I think that's unrelated to your problem.
