SDK moders, please help! How to make more tiles per city workable?

SDK moders, please help me!

I need to know how to make a change like that city radius will growth 2nd time (for ex. when the city culture is influential). I want to know how will it be when the city will have for ex. 36 tiles workable, not only 20.

I would strongly suspect this can be done but it would be a tricky, the fat cross is so old and well established in Civ that its likly in many parts of the game other then just checking ware a city have harvest. The AI probably uses it for most of its terraforming and base placement desisions for example.

It would also require a major overhaul of the City view screen to show an enlarged space. And theirs are all kinds of questions as to just how far/fast this extra harvesting space will be. I think the simplest thing (which seems to be what you sugjest) is for the city to gather from any plot in its cultural radius which is controlled by your Civ. If thats the rule then thats a major change to the game, cities could grow to massive size much faster. As atractive as it sound it might be more trouble then its worth. Do enough people realy want to see this done to justify the effort?

I mean just one more city radius growth - for ex. then when your exactly city will gain an influential culture level.
So, it will have for ex. max. 36 tiles instead of 20.

C - city, O - included in the biggest city radius, X - not in the city radius

Me and my friends are working on very big mod with some future eras (something like CTP1/CTP2). We desperately need giant metropolies with skyscrappers :).
This would be very helpful to me.
Please, help me if you can.
