Second trade route to a city with a franchise

Sure, I didn't read the civilopedia, but I only go there when things don't work as expected.

It seems that, once I got my corporation, a trade route to a foreign city will build a franchise there. And then my corporation get bonuses based on the number of franchises. Ok.
Later, if I send the trade route again to the same foreign city, the franchise dissapear. Because no one ever complained about this, I believe this is intended.

Is there any benefit for going twice to the same city, seeing that the franchise is going to be removed?
Am I the only one who cannot find any hint at this behaviour (removed franchises) before it happens?

No one probably bothered to play this far on the current version.

I have played that far, but I've probably not been paying attention.
I really don't think so however, I would notice if capitals lost franchises randomly between TRs.

Either way I'm fairly certain this is not intentional, so make a bug-report about it or something like that.

I believe this was happening with last version too, but I'm not absolutely sure, cause I had mostly national trade routes.
