i'm not sure this is big enough for anyone to put time into helping me with, but whenever i play this game, the mouse icon (pointer) flickers on and off, and the background behind it is deistorted.. normally this wouldnt bother me, but (i think) the same thing that is causeing that, is also making it so i cant get any of the mouseover information (in the settings, etc).. if anyone knows this off the top of thier head, let me know, would you please?

if you want to know more about my system.. ati mobility 9200, i just updated the driver to try and fix that, other than that, i dont think it matters, tried running only the game (incase some weird background program was doing it), tried all the graphic settings.. i just dont know?

any help would be appriciated.

when you update your drivers ussually the BEST step to take is. Download the new drivers, uninstall old drivers, reboot, install new drivers off of desktop, reboot.

Not necessarily. I have the same issue with the pointer, but the mouseover info works just fine.
As my game only crashes sporadically, I'm lazy and will wait for the patch to hopefully fix it before I start goofing around with my system.

as far as the crashes go, mine doesnt, even with constant switching out of the program, and changing settings to try and get rid of this. This is the main reason why i didn't think that it would really be worth anyones time, considering all the other, major, problems out there..

But then again, the others are major, maybe this will take barley any work at all to fix.. who knows? cause i sure dont..

If I was you I wouldn't touch anything if your game works, I have seen lots of people with simple problems and when they started to move things around the game became unplayable. Wait untill they release the patch.

I am not playing anymore, freaking blue screens are breaking my computer. :wallbash:

well that's what I've decided to do, i was just curious if anyone (i.e. the people you talk about ;) ) accidentally stumbled onto something.

Thanks for your time anyway,

This may or may not help you elbweb; I have discovered the reason why mouse rollover information intermittently fails to appear - it's because 'right-click' is enabled in the game options. It would seem this is another bug in the program but luckily not a serious one for those who have been affected as it can be easily rectified.

I don't know if this is the source of all your graphical troubles but worth mentioning in case you do happen to have this right-click option set to ON... if so, turn if OFF to see if there is any improvement to your situation.
