Steam Mods/Downloadable mods

Will mods subscribed to via Steam and mods downloaded from this community work together? Right now I am only using mods subscribed through Steam (they seem to work better without game crashing), but I would like to add 1 or 2 from this community (small mods), but will not do it if it is sure to crash the game

Yes they will. These are the same mods, simply stored in a different folder on your computer.
