Tech tree bug ?

I dont know if its a bug, or if its just me...

I've just started a new game, and have Fishing and Agriculture.

These are both listed as 'alternate' paths to pottery, however if I try to research pottery, then the tech. advisor screen, also selects 'the wheel'

Note, on the tech advisor screen, there is no arrow at all going from the wheel into pottery !

I've noticed this on a few other techs as well - is it bug, or am I missing something ?

The arrows don't list all the prerequisites, some are also noted in the top right of the tech tree entry - for pottery I belieive you need The wheel and either fishing or agriculture - the wheel to be able to make the pots, the other to give you the NEED for the pots.
