Tech Tree Question?????

Just a quick question....

This is probably a question that has already been asked, but I can't find the answer (too many threads to read) so here it is.

Can I make certain techs unavailable to specific civs?

an add-on to that question: is iot possible to make you own techs? not totally new, but replacing others. in other words, is it possible to make you own custom tech-tree?

I'm not sure if it's possible to deny techs to certain Civs...there was another thread on this topic very recently.

It is possible to make your own techs using the editor, but if you exceed 82 problems start to come up. Also, if you make your own techs and rearrange the tech tree, you'll need to rearrange the lines for the science advisor .pcx graphic (not sure where it's located, though).
