Here's the final agreed-upon border between our lands. I submit it here for your approval.

Keep in mind that this is more of a limitation on settlements as opposed to an actual border (those borders will be established by our respective cultural borders).

The Green area is a No Build Zone for both teams. No cities, colonies, etc. can be established by either team in this zone.

This "border" does not affect tile improvement as we will be allowed to irrigate, etc. tiles within our cultural borders.

These borders are acceptable, especially considering the CDG is in the middle of a jungle.

I also recommend that, if we approve this border, that we approach Apolyton as recognizing the Balance of Power and that line as our borders, so as to prevent their settlement via galley.

Glad to see you wound-up getting that crucial strategic point in the NW. That will by key to early detection and warning of passing ships. Overall it looks pretty good for now.

Although I'd love to have one extra silk for trade purposes, it's not terribly important... This seems an acceptable agreement for our friends over at CDG.
But who made that map...? ^_^;

I'm afraid that I must take credit for the final version (even if it's not quite up to my personal standards). It is a doctored version of a proposal submitted by MRex, then edited by Chieftess and then finally edited by yours truly.

It ain't pretty, but it works. ;)

If they get Balance of Power, I think we might be able to get it from them as a gift (ie. sharing the spoils of war). If not, then that would be a breach of trust between us IMHO.

I don't know what to vote but I must say that I have 3 issues:

1) What's the point of the green buffer zone? Is it to prevent the 'enemy' to culture-steal the other's silks?

2) The got the monopoly on the silk trade.

3) I was hoping that our FP would be in the middle of those silks.

Agreed on all three points Hygro.

I'm looking at this as a bit of a concession to our allies who have saved our skins in the current war with Gamecatcher.

As time goes on, this "border" may be adjusted (ie. based on the outcome of the war, etc...). Either way, I intend to use some cultural power to try and get at least 2 of those silks.

After we win the GCA war, we should try to settle quite agressively towards our borders, in hope of claiming as much luxuries as possible. But, considering that CDG already has a town right next to the border, we're almost doomed to loose this border to their cultural influence, maybe even the source of silk they left to us.

Elucidia told me that all the cities that are captured would be split equally. We are going to share GCA's cities. NOTE- I hope someone told Moongoose about that clause.
