TERM IV MSAV MILITARY REFORM BILL - 980 AD, Section 1B.

THIS POLL IS MULTIPLE OPTION, ABSTAIN IS UNDER OTHERS

This bill subsection 1A will call for the relocalization of

The Majority of the Grade A units will be localized on the Franco-Zulu border, where I will poll the prospect of a Final Samurai War, and then poll sub-criteria for if and how this should take place. This force will be mainly Samurai Veterans, cannons and muskets. Finally, the Japanatican cities will be held by pikemen and muskets. All spare units not going south will go North.

This is an ADVISORY POLL, in multiple option format, but the citizens may influence which enemy to focus on, where to locate the Southern Central Command and to call for extra forces to this Army Group.

EACH CITIZEN CAN SUPPORT A MAXIMUM OF THREE DOCTRINES, THE THREE MOST SUPPORTED POLLS WILL BE CONSIDERED AND ONE REMOVED.

The Doctrines are which target cities we want to take in a war, a detailed operational poll with casus belli and so on will come when my Term formally starts.

I don't understand any of this...

What are we voting for ?
Where we ae going to position our samurai forces -> unlikely as most are in non-Japanatican lands.
Where we'll strike next (soon) ? -> I hope not.

Provolution: please tell me what we are voting for.

The doctrine is honorable defense. We are merely staking out where a retaliatory attack would take place if these attack uf first. When term IV starts, I will poll casus belli, war objectives, acceptable peace treaties and so on based on these doctrines. However, the
people need to pick these interests first before I can develop defensible war criteria.
First we need to know how to fight, then why we should fight, which means these wars may never take place.

That is correct Rik Meleet, My platform is honorable defense doctrine, where we are poised for a powerful counterattack to conquer 3 cities per self declared enemy. I already have generals to draft operational plans in case we are attacked. So, the retaliatory objectives you pick, will dictate unit placement.

Are these cities we're attacking first? Or our goals?

I support both Mustard Hills Doctrines as well as the Zulu Slicer.

For the Zulu, I really would've wanted all the cities that I picked except for Ulundi. Basically, get all the cities within the borders of our "Active" Provinces, but, with the possible exception of Mpondo due to the river ans Iron, leave the "Sectors" be.

My "other" has a codename of "Operation Orledruin", based on my comment in a PM that going to Orleans would be like going to Mordor.

The first two cities in that line would be Dijon and Amiens. This would be both a border expansion AND a denial of Horses to France. (France has numerous Iron mines so Amiens is not as signifigant)

The thirs city on this quest is Orleans. From what I can tell on the map, Orleans has the Ferench's only source of Saltpeter. Now, if the French have not yet produced Musketeers, they will soon. Though we likely won't keep Orleans for too long, we would likely deprive them of Saltpeter for some time.

IF these retaliatory strikes occur, are we going to be giving back the cities after the war is over or are we going to keep the strategic cities and give back the rest or do we just keep all?

I may consider boycotting future polls presented by members of the voting bloc boycotting or vetoing this poll in order to render it invalid. If these have questions about the validity of this poll, or its goal, they should read the discussion on doctrines and so on. However, I do see that some clustered elements are in denial of this line of thought and would go far in order to sustain the existing regimen with a leading bellsheep :)
