The Augean Stables landmark thread

this thread if for all citizen suggestions for landmarks by and near the Augean Stables. on the below screenie you can suggest names for the following landmarks: the sugar plain, the river, the forest, the general plains, the gold hill and mountain, and the southwestern mountain. i highly encourage all the other city governors to open threads similar to this. that way, when all the landmarks in our empire are named, i'll post a map of our empire in the Info Office.

name the sugar plains the food of Zeus or the food of the gods. for the gold NE the gold of Apollo, you know sun god, gold is yellow like the sun. gold se gold of Artemis, she's apollo's brother. the forests can be named whatever the trees that had the golden apples was called. the sw mountain how about Mt. Olympus.

The general population has already named the mountain the "golden Hills" because of the gold. I know thats what the foreign department refered to it as in the News paper and thats what Civ General called it the other day

Call that entire plain section the "Kyllini Plains". Name the forest to the (generally) east "The Athamanon Ori."

gold mt. and hill: Gold hills
plains: Kyllini Plains
forest: The Athamanon Ori

we still need a name for the river and the sugar tile...

my suggestion for the river: River of the Stallions.

i also highly encourage all other governors to open threads similar to this one. once all important landmarks are named, i'll draw up a "master" map and put it in the Info Office for all to see.

alright, seeing as now one else has responded, these will be the official Augean Stables landmark names:

gold mt. and hill: Gold hills
plains: Kyllini Plains
forest: The Athamanon Ori
river: River of Stallions
sugar tile: Bounty Plains

again, a suggestion to ALL GOVERNORS: why don't you open threads similiar to this and name landmarks in your city raiduses? if you don't in the next day or so, i'll assume you don't care or don't want to and open the floor for suggestions for landmark names in this thread.
