doesnt this remind you of back in the day? writing batch files, editing autoexec.exe, command.com and config.sys just to get a game to work? :D
only now, we have web forums that make it far less painful, that and im not 6 anymore messing around when my mom isnt lookin :P

I guess it's autoexec.bat and config.sys, actually
I doubt that many of us edited command.com... :)

but yeah, you're right, hehe

I remember making boot disks to free up as much memory in DOS as possible to play some games. Ah, the good old days. :)

im gonna say this, not as a fan boy because i had issues gettin this to work, and it IS their fault. but when keeping the old days in mind, this isnt any worse.. ya know? sure its a pain in the ___ but i personally cant REALLY complain to the degree some are with "firaxis FU_kin blows" kinda stuff. constructive posts are great, even frustrated, detailed posts are good, we all gotta vent. but im personally tired of plain old "this release sucks" threads

i realize that im being a hypocrate here, as this thread doesnt have anything technical in it. but i made it as a more light hearted aproach to the issues we are all having, so please dont flame me :D
